A minimum of 10 current (2009 to present – where applicable), peer-reviewed journal article references are necessary for an appropriate literature review for this project. Please note, the literature review is not an annotated bibliography in which you summarize each article that you have reviewed. While a summary of what you have read is contained in the literature review, it goes beyond this and focuses on a specific topic of interest to you. The literature review includes your ideas, a critical analysis of the relationship between different works and relates this to your work. In essence, you utilize research to support your ideas and the research topic of interest. The literature review is best composed by using the following steps: – Identify the broad problem area while avoiding global statements – Early in the review indicate why the topic being reviewed is important – Distinguish between research findings and other sources of information – Avoid long lists of nonspecific references – Cite all references both in text and on the reference page. ***Please include this journal article in the review: * Riaz, F. Ishaq, K., Abbasi, A. (2018). Influence of social media in developing social anxiety: a study of university students in Lahore. International Journal of Scientific and Research Publications, 8, Issue 2.
