Just to point out this essay is not on philosophy but rather THEOLOGY. Writer will need to acquire Alister E McGrath,
Theology: The Basics 4th ed. (Malden, MA: Blackwell, 2018). Students will select one reading to review from the instructor’s approved list (approved readings are marked with an * in the course outline below). The review will be 700-800 words (no more than 3 pages double-spaced) in length and must accomplish the following three tasks:
a. Identify the main idea of the reading and the key supporting arguments contained within it;
b. Critically engage with the reading (show that you have considered the strengths and weaknesses in the reading and point out what you would say differently);
c. Comment on what the selected reading contributes to contemporary theological discourse on the topic in question and how the argument presented might be built upon (i.e., What matters related to the topic of the reading remain unaddressed? What further questions might be explored?).
